The gardens are open seasonally from April to November with varying opening days throughout the year. Opening hours are 10am – 4pm, with last entry at 3pm.

    Important Information

    Please read the following information before purchasing tickets online or planning your visit to the gardens. Advance booking is recommended throughout the season to help manage visitor numbers and provide the best possible visitor experience.

    Advance Booking

    Tickets may still be available online on the morning of your visit, subject to daily availability. Admission, Gift Vouchers and Annual Tickets can all be purchased online before your visit for a quicker and easier arrival experience. Advance booking is recommended during weekends, holidays and busy seasonal periods.

    Visitor Information

    If you are unable to attend your booked visit due to illness or emergency, please contact us to arrange an alternative visit date where possible. Please ensure online tickets are purchased for the correct venue, as tickets bought for a different garden or sculpture park cannot be refunded.

    Extreme Weather Info

    Extreme weather conditions, such as strong winds, storms, floods or snow could lead to the Park having to be closed during opening hours, and we may have to ask you to leave the Park. This will be done in accordance with our Health and Safety and Risk Assessments which prioritize visitor and staff safety. If we are unable to open the park or we have to ask you to leave during your visit due to weather conditions, we will arrange for you to visit on an alternative day. Please check the website before you set off for daily updates.

    Outdoor Mobility Partnership

    Due to steep valley sides, steps and gravel pathways, some areas of the garden may be difficult to access for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs.

    Valley Views

    Outdoor Mobility provide all-terrain mobility scooters for visitors to hire and use throughout the garden.

    Accessible Areas

    Visitors with mobility difficulties can still enjoy access to the Buddha Garden, Information Centre, Tearoom and restroom facilities free of charge.

    Free Carer Entry

    Certified carers accompanying a visitor qualify for free entry with supporting documentation including AA, DLA, PIP or Carers Allowance evidence.

    Last admission is at 3pm and we kindly ask that all visitors leave the Park by 4pm
    Monday Closed on Monday (except Bank Holiday Mondays open 10am -4pm)
